Karen C. Robarge Fetterman Corsivo left her earthly home and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Jan. 23, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Karen C. Robarge and her twin brother, Aaron, were born on Oct. 29, 1942, to Norma and Norman Robarge in Cornell, Wis. She graduated from Cornell High Schoool in 1961. Karen married Edgar J. Fetterman on Aug. 24, 1963, in Butler, Pa. They had two children, Brennan and Karalene. She lived in the New London, CT area until 2002. Karen married Kevin D. Corsivo on Dec. 14, 2002, in Hamlin State Park, N.Y. They lived in Rochester, N.Y. until May 2006, and then moved to Karen's dream house in North Port, Fla.

Karen is survived by her husband, Kevin, her mother, Norma of Barron, Wis.; sister, Evalene (Walt) Fillmore of Hillsdale, Wis.; brother, Harlan (Diane) of Anchorage, Alaska and Cornell, Wis.; children, Karalene (Michael) Conner of Phoenixville, Pa. and Brennan Fetterman of New Orleans, La.; grandchildren, Katelin and Andrew Conner and Shelby Brown. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Vera Corsivo of New York; sister-in-law, Joyce Robarge of Vermont; her first husband's parents and family and other relatives and many friends.

Karen was greeted in Heaven by her father, Norman; brothers, Aaron and Royce; first husband, Edgar and sister-in-law, Jean Robarge. She was also met by her favorite dogs, Zoya and Lassie.

Karen was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was full of energy and loved to help people whenever there was a need. Since receiving Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1965, she has lived to honor Him and share her faith with others. She lived and died as a living testament to her faith. Karen loved life and lived every day to the fullest. She was very creative and had many talents, painting, photography, quilting, decorating, crocheting and calligraphy. Her hobbies included biking, fishing, bowling, camping traveling, gardening and hiking. She was also active in her church community. Karen was an excellent homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking. Everyone was welcome in her home and was treated to good food, local tours and her infectious laugh. Karen loved to talk and in fact her mother said she talked enough for her twin brother and herself! Karen was very thoughtful and caring toward everyone she met. Her weekly letters to her mother and other family members were filled with details of her daily life and testimonies to the Lord. Karen leaves this world a batter place than she found it. Her faith, goodness and beauty will live on in the family and friends she leaves behind.
