The Huntington County native had lived in Fort Wayne since 1935. She retired in 1979 after 21 years as a registered nurse at Lutheran Hospital.
Surviving are her husband, Chester S.; daughters, Eileen M. Hakey, and Anna M. Mize, both of Fort Wayne; sons, David and Kenneth, both of Fort Wayne; her mother, Sylvia Heath of Markle; 11 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
Services were 11 a.m. today at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
