Ferdinand Rank, Jr., 83, formerly of Philippen Street, Manitowoc, died Thursday at Manitowoc County Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 11 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Very rev. Msgr. Alfred Schneider will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Rank was born Feb. 7, 1883 at Branch, son of the late Ferdinand and Wilhelmina Hartman Rank Sr. He married Helen Hockerts June 4, 1911 at St. Michael Catholic church, Whitelaw. She died Oct. 8, 1963. Mr. Rank was a mason by trade and retired in 1949.
His survivors include two sons, Joseph of Rt. 1, Maribel and Lester, of Green Bay; a brother, William of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Charles Hills of Manitowoc; four grandchildren and a great grandchild. A daughter, two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home where at 7:30 o’clock this Friday evening the Rosary will be recited.
