George Rank, 70, of 4086 N. Sixth St., Milwaukee, formerly of Manitowoc, died Sunday at Wood Veterans Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Heiden and Runge Funeral Home, 3116 N. Third St., and at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Milwaukee. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Rank was born at Branch March 13, 1895, son of the late Ferdinand Sr., and Minnie Hartman Rank. He was a World War I Veteran. He married Clara Schozen of Milwaukee and from 1921 until 1956, when he retired, he was employed by A.O. Smith Co., Milwaukee.

Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Dennis Radl, of Milwaukee, a sister, Mrs. Charles Hills, of Manitowoc, three brothers, William and Ferdinand Jr., of Manitowoc and Richard, of St. Louis, Mo., and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday where at 8:15 the Rosary will be recited.
