HILDA RUNGE
Mrs. Hilda Runge, 86, former Manitowoc and Sheboygan resident, died Saturday in Chandler Community Hospital, Chandler, Ariz.
Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Bruce Huffer officiated and burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Runge, nee Hilda Neuhaus, was born May 21, 1893, in Sheboygan County, daughter of the late Jacob and Marie Neuhaus. She was married to John Runge in 1922, in Sheboygan. The couple resided in Manitowoc and Sheboygan. Mr. Runge preceded her in death July 25, 1932. In 1978 she moved to Chandler, Ariz. to reside with a son, John. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary and Germania Society.
Survivors include two sons, John H. of Chandler and Harold of South Milwaukee, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
