George H. Radl, 85, of 943 N. Ninth St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. He had made his home for many years with the
Frank Kuhnle family.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Mittnacht Funeral Home and
at 9 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. E. A. Radey
will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Radl was born March 28, 1879, at Manitowoc, son of the late Joseph and
Katherine Straka Radl. He attended St. Boniface Catholic School and was
graduated from the old North Side High school. He had been employed as bookkeeper
by C. Reiss Coal Co. and later as a cement finisher for local contractors. During
World War II he had been employed by Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc. He was a member
of Boilermakers Local 443.
He married Annie Anderson at Manitowoc in 1913. She died a year later.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. William Schwartz and Mrs. John Leicht of Manitowoc
and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where the Rosary will be
recited at 7:30 p.m.
