NATHAN A POOLE DEAD. He was in business in Washington for Twenty-six Years Nathan Algernon Poole, sixty-seven years of age, died last night at the residence of his son-in-law, S.A. Reeves, 2714 Sherman Avenue, after an illness extending over two years. He leaves a widow and thirteen children. Mr. Poole was for twenty-six years in the retail grocery business, more recently at 1209 "F" Street, in this city. He retired permanently from business in the year 1895. He came to Washington from Parkersburg, W. Va. A native of Poolesville, Md., in 1849 he left his home to join the rush for the Western gold fields, where he was in some degree successful before returning East. Three years ago he suffered a stroke of paralysis on the right side. The second stroke, late last night, was the immediate cause of death. The funeral arrangements had not been completed last night, but he will be buried some time on Friday at Glenwood Cemetery.
