Acad. of Fine Arts (Phila.); and in Paris, under Leon Bonnat; married to Ella Towles, 1880. Exhibited at Carnegie Inst. (Pittsburgh); Nat. Acad. of Design (N.Y.); and in other important exhibitions in the U.S.; Member of International Jury of Awards, Carnegie Inst. (Pittsburgh, 1900); member of Pittsburgh Artists' Ass'n.
