Henry Hank Peters was a lifetime resident of Gueda Springs, Kansas. He died at 9 p.m., Friday in Newton Memorial Hospital. He was born in Ashton, Kansas Feb. 18, 1883. He married Barbara Wolf Apr 20, 1903 in Wellington, Ok. She died July 28, 1952. He was a farmer and a stockman up until he retired in 1949. He is survived by seven sons, H. Frank Peters of 1206 N. Seventh St. in Arkansas City, Kansas, John Peters in Commerce City, Colorado, Walter Peters, Green Mountain Falls, Colorado, Charles Peters, Oakley, Kansas, Arthur Peters, Winfield, Kansas, Marion Peters, Oildale, California, Harold Peters, Gueda Springs; three daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Ermaline) Cochran, Ione, California, Mrs. Charles (Barbara) McManis, Pomona, California, and Mrs. Josephine Wheeler, Dexter, Kansas. He also had one son George that proceeded him in death November 1928.
