WEST MILTON — Erma Louise Confer 84, formerly of High Street, West Milton, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2011, at the Rockwell Center, Milton.

Born on April 21, 1926, in Spring Valley, Clearfield County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Flora (Wisor) Parks. She was married to the late George Lansberry, the late Paul Hunt, and the late Lee Confer.

Erma attended school in Spring Valley and was a member of the West Milton United Methodist Church. She worked at American Home Foods for 26 years retiring in 1988. She loved her family and was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother. She was a member of Eastern Star, Milton and enjoyed bingo.

She is survived by a son, David A. Lansberry, of Athens, Ga.; a brother, Clair Parks, of Seneca; a sister, Vena Fundanish, of Philipsburg; three grandsons, Terry Ramsey and Rick Lansberry, both of Clearfield, and Eric Hill, of New Columbia; a granddaughter, Heather Smith, of Middleburg; eight great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Paulette D. Hill; a grandson, Mike Lansberry, and eight brothers and sisters.

Friends and relatives will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the West Milton United Methodist Church, 308 High St. West Milton, followed by the funeral at 2 with her pastor the Rev. John E. Lee officiating.

Interment will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.

Arrangements are under the care of the Shaw Funeral Home, Milton.
