PRICE - Ricki Jill Edwards age 58, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009. Ricki was born to Carl Ellis and Verne Elizabeth Mortensen on Aug. 21, 1951 in Standardville. She married Allen Lamar Edwards on Feb. 7, 1970 in Elmo.
Ricki loved her family and being out in the country. She enjoyed arts and crafts and held numerous callings as a young woman. She was a founding member of the King Crawlers, and enjoyed playing volleyball, softball and bowling. She was a loving caregiver and found a love for anything her family was doing.
She is survived by her husband Allen, children: Scott (Lori ) Edwards, Kevin (Jannilyn) Edwards, Jill (Jeremy) Ison. nine Grandchildren, siblings: Vanee (Aullen) Larsen, Elroy (Janice) Mortensen, and Maryla (Jack) Adams and sister-in-law Janet Mortensen.
Preceded in death by her parents, her brother Dennis Mortensen, and sister-in-law Phyllis Mortensen.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Price Fifth Ward Chapel (545 E. 400 N.). There will be a viewing Friday, Nov. 13, at Fausett Mortuary in Price from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 at the church. Interment will be in the Elmo City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
