FORMER WILTON (N.H.) WOMAN HAD BEEN ILL FOR LONG PERIOD
Greenfield, March 1 - Miss Emily G. Moore, 67, native of Warwick and a former resident of Wilton, N.H., died at the Franklin County hospital this morning after a year's confinement there. She had been in poor health for the past three years.
Born at Warwick December 13, 1866, she was the daughter of James A. and Sarah (Smith) Moore. In 1888 she moved to Wilton, N.H., where she lived many years and was a member of the Mayflower lodge of Rebekahs. She came to Greenfield 14 years ago and had made her home with a sister, Mrs. William Midgley of 35 Linden avenue. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Besides her sister here, Miss Moore leaves a sister, Mrs. John Fitch of Milford, N.H., and three brothers, Arthur of Wilton, N.H., and George and Chester of Milford, N.H. The funeral will be held at the Methodist church, Sunday afternoon at 2, with Rev. Verne Leslie Smith officiating. The body will be placed in the Green River cemetery crypt until spring, when burial will be in Warwick.
