Funeral services for Mrs. Maudie A. Brinson, 100, of West Monroe, La. will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday November 7, 2005 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, La. with Rev. Paul Perry officiating. Interment will be in Delhi Masonic Cemetery.

Mrs. Brinson died November 5, 2005 at the West Monroe Guest House.

Mrs. Brinson was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Brinson, Sr., parents, Frank and Winnie Monroe, daughters, Alneada Nappier, Maxine Brinson and Florence Fryer, grandsons, Alan Brinson and Ricky Fryer, great grandson, Christopher Ryan Collins and four brothers and six sisters.

Mrs. Brinson was a member of the First Baptist Church in West Monroe, La.

Survivors: her sons, Sam Brinson, Jr. and wife, Joe Ann, Billy Brinson and wife, Helen, and Don Brinson and wife, Jeanette; grandchildren, Terri Collins and husband, Mike, Melba Franklin and husband, Paul, Ellen Evans, Scotty Brinson and wife, Liz, Suzonne Wells, Donna Pace and husband, Richard, Jimmy Brinson and wife, Terri and Melissa Brinson; great grandchildren, John Michael Collins, Matt Collins, Corrie Nicholson, Justin Wells, Sarah Brinson, Jessica Brinson, Mike Brinson, Jesse Owens, Jacob Owens, Blake Morgan, Megan Morgan, step-grandchildren, Jamie Gates, Amber Gates and John Michael Gates; great great grandchildren, Owen Nicholson and Braydean W. Gates

Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Collins, Paul Franklin and Richard Pace.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Sunday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, La.
