DELHI (Special) — Funeral services for Mrs. Winnie Monroe, 85, were held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Dunn Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. B. Gray and Rev. Sardis Beaver officiating. Interment followed in the old Crowville Cemetery by Gay's Funeral Home.


Survivors are four sons, Willis and Columbus, both of Delhi; J. D., Winnsboro, and Doc, Jennie, Ark.; seven daughters, Miss Ethel Monroe, Miss Myrtle Monroe, and Mrs. Maudie Brinson, all of Delhi; Mrs. Florence Grahm, Creston; Mrs. Tennie Franks, Winnfield; Mrs. Pearl Grahm and Mrs. Inez Emmerson, Jennie, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Janie Pierce, Goldonna, and Mrs. Anna Pierce, Jigers [sic Jigger], 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
