Pauline Brown, 94, a long-time Sand Springs resident passed from this life on Thursday, December 26, 2013 in Sand Springs. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 29th from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Monday, December 30th from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs, followed by a memorial service to remember and celebrate Pauline's life. That service will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Sand Springs United Methodist Church with Reverend Don Tabberer officiating.
One of four daughters of John McDaniel and Virginia (Barksdale) Brown, Pauline was born in Benton, Arkansas on April 25, 1919. Tot Brown and Pauline McDaniel were joined in marriage in Cleveland, OK on January 20, 1952 and had celebrated over fifty-four years of marriage prior to Tot's death on March 3, 2006. She and Tot were active members of Sand Springs United Methodist Church and were active in nearly every ministry and outreach area of the church. Pauline had worked at several businesses over the years but will probably be best remembered from her work in her husband Tot's insurance office, Broadway Insurance Agency.
Preceding her in death were her husband, her parents, and her three sisters.
In honor of their active membership in the Sand Springs United Methodist Church the family has asked that you consider a gift to the church's building fund in lieu of flowers. (Mobley Dodson)
