Born to James M. Marshall (1846-1933) & Lavina Permelia Boyd Marshall (1849-1927).

Anna married Henry Nicholson Quin in 1900 in Upshur County, TX. They left immediately after their marriage, stopping briefly in Baker, Arkansas, for the 1900 census. In 1910, they were in the West Texas town of Paducah.

Five children:
• Hugh Murray Quin (1901-1979)
• Marshall Quin (1905-1974)
• Jack Quin (1907-1981)
• Mildred Quin Evans (1909-2000; m. Gene Evans on 6/20/1929)
• Madge Quin Kimmel (1912-1983)

After the early deaths of Henry & Anna, the children were reared by her parents, then in their 70s, in Gilmer, TX.
