RADFORD — John Fugate Montgomery, 86, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 1990, at Radford Community Hospital. Surviving are his wife, Mary R. Montgomery; one daughter, Mrs. Elsie Tibbs, Dublin; one son, James E. Montgomery, Roanoke; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Wright, Radford; six grandchildren; five step grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren. Funeral was today at 11 a.m. at the Seaver-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Edward Wood officiating. Interment followed in the Hickman Cemetery, Pulaski County.
