E. J. Lineberry, 68, who re­sided at Graham's Forge in the eastern portion of Wythe county, died early Saturday morning, October 9, in the Pulaski hos­pital. He had been a patient in the hospital two weeks.
The deceased had been in the mercantile business for a number of years, but had retired because of ill health.
Surviving are the widow, ten children, two sisters and one brother. Funeral services were conduct­ed at Main Street Christian church, Wytheville, Sunday at 2:30 p. m., by Rev. G. O. Gard, pastor of the church; Rev. C. B. Livesay, a former pastor, now pas­tor of the Christian church at Appalachia, and Rev. A. C. Meadows, pastor of the First Christian church, Radford.
Interment was in Felts ceme­tery, Galax.
