H.L. (Foozy), born in Wanette, OK on Dec. 2, 1931 to Henry (Boss) Laughlin & Stella Calhoun Laughlin, passed away Oct. 17, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dortha Brightwell Laughlin; son Terry Laughlin & wife Amanda; daughter Lonnita Laney & husband Cole Y. Laney; 2 granddaughters: Shawna Laughlin & Jami Laney; 1 grandson Jacob Laughlin; 2 sisters and their husbands: Barbara & Jerry Edwards, and Betty & Newton Woody; many nieces, nephews, and cousins that he loved dearly; as well as a special brother-cousin, and wife Dwight & Jeanne Laughlin. He is preceded in death by his mother and father and sister Geneva Stover. He retired from the Oklahoma City Fire Department. He loved spending time at his cabin in Colorado hunting, traveling, playing the guitar, and just being with his family and friends, Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday at the South Colonial Chapel of Vondel Smith. Interment to follow at 12:00 Noon at Wanette Cemetery , Wanette, Oklahoma.
