Lurene Lang, daughter of Julia Lang, born in Davis County September 22, 1899, died December 2, 1916, aged 17 years, 2 months, 20 days. She was educated in Davis county, faithful and earnest in her studies, attending school nine years without being absent or tardy. She was loved by her teachers and playmates. She leaves to mourn her death her mother, grandparents and a number of other relatives and friends. The funeral was held Monday at 1:30 at the home of the grandparents conducted by Rev. Swan. Interment in the Rouch cemetery.
