Elsie was born in Jensen, Nebraska on Oct.25, 1924 and passed away at home unexpectedly on Monday, September 3rd. She was the daughter of Edward Karl Kusch and Anna Sperling Kusch. The family moved to Oklahoma when Elsie was 7 years old where she attended school at Golden Valley in Fairview. She married Oliver E. Whetstone and together they had a daughter, Georgia LaVoughn Whetstone Taylor.
She worked at Ideal Food Store for 15 years, but her real love was helping people through her 34 year career as a Reflexologist. She truly loved helping people, healing people, being around people and making them laugh.
Survivors include her daughter Georgia Taylor and husband Jack, of Donalsonville, Georgia and granddaughter Cindy Garvie of Orlando, Florida, three sisters; Louise Pickering, Mary Baum, and Amanda Rowe, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Edward and Anna Kusch, three brothers; Ted, Abe and Eddie, three sisters; Diane, Goldie and Bertie. She is also preceded by her late husband, Clarence Lamle.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Fairview Lions Club with the Fairview Funeral Home acting as custodian.
