Visitation has been scheduled from 1 p.m. Wednesday until funeral time Thursday at the funeral home, with interment in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
She was the wife of Irvin Lafont; mother of Lori and Lynnie Trehan; sister of Ulysses Clavier Jr., Edmae Louise Trehan, Polly Anne Broussard; step-daughter of Ruby Clavier; and step-sister of Archie and George Micheal Clavier.
She is also survived by one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ulysses and Colastie Clavier Sr., and her sister, Auga Lee Miller.
