Ed Kozak, 20, Dies in G.I. Hospital -
A former Palmer area boy, Edward Kozak, passed away Saturday morning in a Grand Island hospital. He had been in ill health since his childhood.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday morning at Blessed Sacrament Church in Grand Island with burial in Elmwood Cemetery at St. Paul.
Edward Martin Kozak was born January 10, 1952 at Palmer to Joseph and Euveda Freeland Kozak. The family resided on a Nance County farm until Mr. Kozak's health failed and they moved to St. Paul. His father died in 1970 and the family moved to Grand Island last year.
Survivors include his step-father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Wilson of Grand Island; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Simcox of Hampton; a brother, Frank of Grand Island; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Louie Freeland of Loup City.
