John R. Knotts
ORMA - John R. Knotts, 84, of Orma, Calhoun County, died Jan. 14, 1990, at Roane General Hospital after a short illness.
He was born in Roane County and was retired from the state Department of Highways. He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church, Nicut.
Surviving: wife, Delma Hall Knotts; daughters, Anna Lee Byers of Walker and Virginia Johnson of Tampa, Fla.; sisters, Gae Stalnaker of Weston, Jean Bullard of Tampa and Marie Hannah of Bridgeport; brothers, George and Woodrow, both of Orma; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Service will be 2 p. m. Tuesday at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Elder Charles Fisher officiating, Burial will be in Knotts Baptist Church Cemetery, Arnoldsburg. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p. m. and 6 to 9 p. m. today at the funeral home.
