George W. Knotts, 92, of Orma, died Monday, Mar. 13, 2000, at Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Big Otter.
He was born in Calhoun County, the son of the late Warren and Cordelia Short Knotts. He was a sawmill operator and farmer and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Orma.
Surviving are four sons, George Knotts, Jr., of Milan, N. M., and James Knotts, Bruce Knotts and Glenn Knotts, all of Orma; seven grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren.
Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Rev. Carl Marks officiating. Burial was in Knotts Cemetery, Arnoldsburg.
