Alice Inez Andries, age 81 of Dallas, TX, passed away January 4, 2012. She was born October 26, 1930, in North Zulch, TX, to Joe Berry and Lula Grace (McCormick) Keefer. Alice was a longtime member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and worked as a secretary in the manufacturing industry for many years. She was a devoted homemaker who loved her family and enjoyed the time she had with them.
Alice is survived by sons: Spencer Williams of Arlington TX, Dennis, Ben and Robert Andries all of Dallas, and James Andries of Highland Village TX; daughters: Barbara Andries and Teresa Avritt of Dallas, Rebecca Andries of Canton TX, and Catherine Scott of Garland TX; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother: Joe Wayne Keefer of North Zulch TX; sister: Vivian Keefer of Rowlett TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Patrick Andries and son John Andries.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rowlett Chapel with Msgr. Leon Duesman officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 to 8:00pm with rosary at 7:00pm.
