Pearl Jackson Houston, age 80, died on February 12, 1990 at her home in Salt Lake City.

Born October 27, 1909 in Nephi, Utah, a daughter of Bert and Emily Jane Coulson Jackson.

Married Avery Albert Houston on December 20, 1934 in California. He died on December 27, 1953.

Member of the LDS Church. Also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #67 for 35 years. Resided in San Antonio, Texas for six years.

Survived by: One daughter, Carolee Clark, Kearns; two grandchildren, Mark Houston Gardner, Carl Avery Clark; four sisters and one brother, Mrs. Marvin (Rachael) York, Mrs. Leonard (Ada) Elder, Mrs. George (Florence) Kramer, all of Tooele; Mrs. Bruce A. (Nelda) Holman, Salt Lake City; Eugene Jackson, Nephi. Preceded in death by parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 12 noon at McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.
