CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA - Arthur E. Jacikas, 85, formerly of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, September 21, 2007, in Citrus Heights, California.

He was the former owner of Martin's Shoe Store, in Northcrest Shopping Center for 25 years.

He served in the United States Army as a Sergeant in the 82nd Airborne Infantry Division during World War II and was a Purple Heart recipient.

Surviving are his son, Arthur E. Jacikas Jr., DPM of Fair Oaks, CA; daughters, Catherine Ann Fox of Madison, IN and Donna Rose Bair of Sugarland, Texas; two grandsons; five granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Jacikas.

A Memorial service was held on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church.
