Clyde Inman, 79, middle road, was ded on arrival at Graham Hospital last night after he apparently suffered a heart attack while driving his car east on Middle Road about 7:15 p.m.

Police said that Inman apparently was stricken with the heart attack, after which his car crossed the roadway and stopped against a tree in front of 2721 Middle Road.

two police cars were sent to the scene, and a doctros' efforts to revive Inman failed.

Clyde Irwin Inman was born July 12, 1890 in Keokuk and was the son of Harry and Anna Fox Inman. He married Helen Marie Jones in Keokuk. She preceded him in death in 1962.

He was employed by National Carbide for 27 years.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church, was an ordained deacon and was a member of the Masons and High Twelve.

Survivors are a daughter, Margaret B. Dickey, Keokuk; three sonss, Irwin H. INman, Yellow Springs, Ohio, Donald C. Inman, Santa Cruze, Calif.; and William A. Inman, Keokuk; a brother, Roy Inman, Keokuk; and two sisters, Hazel Varner, Donnellson and Violet Biddenstadt, Keokuk.

He was preceded in death by his wife, a sister, Etta Varner, and three brothers, Ted Inman, John INman and Garnet Inman.

Funeral arrangements are pending at DeJong's Funeral Home.
