Born February 4, 1909 in Peoria, Illinois to Guy Leslie and Ida Pearl Sigler Hurin and brother to Donald and Chrystal, Dayton Colander Hurin was known by family and friends as Bill. Bill entered into the United States Army on June 4, 1930 where he served as a Private. Bill passed from this earth on November 11, 1983 and was interred at Riverside National Cemetery on November 29, 1983.
