Daughter of Isaac C Sigler and Ruhama Grewey Sigler, Ida Pearl Sigler, or Doll as she was commonly known as, was born on October 1, 1883 in Peoria, Illinois. On January 22, 1902, Pearl married Guy Leslie Hurin, a fireman for the city of Peoria. They had three children who lived to adulthood: Albert Donald Hurin, Dayton Colander Hurin, and Chrystal Cavella Hurin Minninger Clark. Pearl passed from this earth on August 24, 1951, joining her husband in the next life who had passed in 1940.
