Daughter of Chester Arthur Harding & Ora Agnes Hawes; wife of Paul Thomas Doyle; resident of Leonardtown, St. Mary's Co., Md.; attended Leonardtown Church of the NazareneMabel Ora Doyle, 91, of Leonardtown, MD died July 25, 2006 in St. Mary's Nursing Center, Leonardtown, MD.

Born March 17, 1915 in Louden County, VA, she was the daughter of Joseph and Ora Agnes Hawes Harding.

She was a doll collector, seamstress, gardener, painter, housekeeper and an excellent cook. She also worked with ceramics and porcelain and crocheted. She liked going to Wal Mart and the Mall in Waldorf and having lunch out in St. Mary's and Charles Counties. She loved decorating for Christmas and making cookies with her daughter. Mrs. Doyle cooked, baked, did laundry and kept house until she was almost 90 when she was greatly debilitated by a stroke. She attended Leonardtown Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Thomas Doyle , a son, Donald Lewis Peregoy and his wife Norma of West Palm Beach, FL, daughters, Joyce Marie McElhenney of Leonardtown, MD, Marjory J. "Sellner" George and husband A.T. of Clinton, MD and Paula Jeanne Thompson of Leonardtown, MD, 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

She also leaves sisters, Ruth Steger of Arlington, VA, Margaret Louise Taylor of Dameron, MD and Wilma Taylor of Houma, LA. and two half brother, Chester Harding and Richard Harding, a half sister, Katherine Harding and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and her cat "Little Angel".

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Joel E. Peregory and his wife Jean, sons-in-law, Harvey McElhenny and Robert Sellner, sisters, Viola Murphy, Flora Cheseldine, Thelma Harding, Rose Marie Collins and brothers, Stacy Harding and John Harding.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 28, 2006 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A. in Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Tim Grose will conduct the service. Interment will be Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, MD.
