Flora A. Hagood
TUSCUMBIA -- Mrs. Flora Ann Hagood, 86, Route 2, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1992, at her residence.
She was a native of Lawrence County, employed as a saleswoman for Carolyn Roberts Factory Outlet before her retirement in 1980, was the wife of the late Will Hagood, and a resident of Tuscumbia for the past 12 years after moving from Lawrence County. She was a member of Hampton Heights Baptist Church, Tuscumbia, a longtime member of the Okolona Baptist Church, Hatton, and had served as the luncroom manager at Wolfe Springs School for several years.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Okolona Baptist Church, Hatton, with the Rev. Dwight, Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Ferguson Cemetery, Lawrence County, Spry Funeral Home, Sheffield, directing.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the funeral.
Survivors include a son, William Hayes Hagood, Roxboro, N.C., daughter, Mrs. Sherry Stewart, Tuscumbia; brothers, J.R. "Rob" Randolph, Town Creek, Hulet Randolph, Gadsden, sisters, Josie Randolph, Oxford, Icy Childs, Gadsden, Lassie Roden, Gadsden; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; nices and nephews.
Bearers will be nephews.
