"It was a jolly house party that celebrated the New Year at Mr. E. T. Baltazor's at Sheaville, Oregon, last week. It consisted of Mrs. Lucy Baltazor, her seven sons, one daughter, one son-in-law and three daughters-in-law and their children in all making thirty-two people present. The party lasted three days and will be a bright spot in the memory of all present for a long time to come."

She made several trips back to Kansas and Illinois to visit friends and relatives. During this time she had a couple of strokes and walked with a cane. Then two of her sons decided to go east and took her with them. At Philadelphia she had a third stroke and died in a nursing home.
