Glouster - Mrs. Anna Faires, 85, died Friday night at her Main St. home in Glouster after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, Charles, and five sons, Guy, of Akron, Earl and Lester, Glouster, Gail of Point Pleasant, and Eldon, at home. Also surviving are six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Other relatives include Mrs. John Jagers, Athens, a grandniece.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the family residence, where services will be conducted Monday, 2 p.m. by the Rev. John Devol. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

Anna was the daughter of Elisha and Ruth Gatchel. She married Charles Grant Faires on 18 Jan 1890 in Athens Co, Ohio.
