WANDA LOU BRANNON

Wanda Lou Brannon, 85 years, of Temperance, MI passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, in Toledo. The daughter of John and Lonie (Winters) Garrison, she was born on December 7, 1927 in Oak Hill, West Virginia. She married Lawrence Brannon who preceded her in death. Wanda worked as a Nurse in Oak Hill Hospital. She then worked for Bedford Schools for over 17 years retiring in 1994. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. A very talented woman, she enjoyed making things with wood such as benches and cabinets. Wanda enjoyed arts and crafts especially painting, crochet and making specialty dolls. She loved baking cakes including wedding cakes.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by all her brothers and sisters.

Wanda is survived by her loving children; John (Margaret) Brannon and Roger (Melody) Brannon; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Urbanski's Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue Temperance, MI where the Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM officiated by Pastor Chuck Marckel of Northwest Christian Church. Burial will follow in Bedford Memorial Gardens.
