Roger D. Brannon

Roger Dale Brannon, 58 years, of Petersburg, MI passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at St. Anne Mercy Hospital in Toledo, OH. A diesel mechanic, he worked for Republic Services for the past 5 years and previously for Wonder Bread for 18 years. He was born in Oakhill, West Virginia on April 22, 1956 to Wanda (Garrison) and Lawrence Brannon. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Roger was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed being a gunsmith, spending time with his family, and working on cars. He was known for being kind and was respected for his hard work. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Melody (Whitting); children, Daniella, Kenna, Kerrie, Jolene, David, Brandy, Heather, Robbie, Sarah, and Nick; 6 grandchildren; and a brother, John (Margaret) Brannon. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 5 PM until 8 PM in Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI where the Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 17, 2014 at 12 PM.

Burial will follow in Bedford Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with Military Honors conducted by Lambertville VFW Post #9656. Online condolences may be shared at www.bedfordfuneralchapel.com.
