He was born April 7, 1868 in St Joseph county, the son of John and Susan Fredrick.
His first marriage was to Nora Andrews of Elkhart county, Nov 24, 1888. She died June 24, 1934.
On Sept 2, 1936, he married Elizabeth Brenneman, who survives, with three daughters, Mrs Homer (Grace) Lehman, Mrs Otto (Hattie) Gordon, and Miss Lillie Fredrick; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; four stepdaughters, Mrs Charles (Blanche) Kissler, Mrs Russell (Amanda) Shull, Mrs Ben (Pauline) Rhinehart, and Mrs Warren (Mary) Hygema.
Mr Fredrick was a farmer of Madison township and a member of the United Missionary church of Oak Grove.
Friends called at the home until the hour of the service in the home at 1:30 Sunday followed by the funeral at 2 o’clock at the Oak Grove United Missionary church. The Rev. Russell Miller officiated, with burial in Fairisville cemetery, near Mishawaka.
