The cemetery records incorrectly report that she was born in July 1881, but that's about the date her parents left Germany bringing with them their 3 children at that time, who were Clara, Ernest & Albert.
Also to corroborate this info is the 1900 TX census which records that Emma was born July 1891 and was age 8 on the census taken on 15 Jun 1900 when she hadn't turned 9 years old yet.
The picture of her tombstone also shows "Born July 23, 1891"
She died at about age 12.
Emma shares the tombstone with her brother, Joseph H "Little Joe", who was burned to death in a fire when he was about 3 years old on 11 Nov 1891. Emma was only a few months old, and her mother's hands were badly burned in the effort to save Little Joe. The Dr. wanted to amputate her hands but she wouldn't allow it and they finally did heal up.
