Burial at Midway for Mrs. Franklin
Funeral services for Mrs. Louanna Angela (Van) Franklin, 89-year-old Chickasaw county native, who died at 12:15 pm, Sunday, April 6, at The Vardaman Clinic, were conducted from the Houston Funeral Home Chapel at 2 pm, Monday.
The Rev. D L Hill officiated. Interment was in the Midway Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: James Morgan, Johnny Bevels, Bobby Mixon, Sam Blue, Weston Simons, and Holly Kendall.
Mrs. Franklin was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Lou Naron Franklin. She was a member of the Midway Baptist Church.
She leaves two sons, Everette and Randolph Franklin, both of Houston; a brother, Jeff Franklin of Vardaman, ten grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
