Dorothy Elizabeth Foster was born to John and Christina (Wolfe) Lear in Ault, Colorado. She grew up in Ault and graduated from Ault High School in 1944, she then attended Business School in Greeley. Dorothy married Robert Foster July 9, 1949 in Greeley. Mrs. Foster worked as a bookkeeper for the Greeley National Bank and then for the Great Western Sugar Company. She loved the Colorado mountains, flower gardening, knitting, sewing, and handcrafts. Mrs. Foster also played the piano and organ and was an excellent cook and baker. Mrs. Foster was a member of the 1st Congregational Church and Christian Women's Club.
Mrs. Foster died Friday September 21, 2007 at the Greeley Life Care Center.
