Mrs. Jewell Dean Ford of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late William Turner and Ruth Bowen Turner, was born on December 17, 1932 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, Kentucky and departed this life on Monday, November 9, 2009 at her home. She was 76 years, 10 months and 23 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville First United Methodist Church. She was the former owner of the Little Piddlin Barn, distributor for Beauty Control Products and bookkeeper for the Skyline Drive-In and Franklin Theater.
She united in marriage to Douglas Larimore Ford who preceded her in death on February 25, 1981. She later united in marriage to George Sexton on November 6, 1993 who also preceded her in death on March 2, 2008.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Tony and Carolyn Ford of Bardstown, Tim and Onie Ford and Trent and Trina Ford all of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren: Angie Hamilton, Brandon Ford, Laura Pedigo, Jack Ford, Natalie Ford, Quenton Ford and Lexie Ford; three great-grandchildren: Nevaeh, Brenin and Gerik; two sisters: Charlene Stickel and Shirley Hardin both of Campbellsville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral services for Mrs. Jewell Dean Ford-Sexton will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. James Loy, Bro. Ted Burke and Bro. Gene Weddle will be officiating.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Campbellsville First United Methodist Church Endowment Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
