Lucille Dunn Cardon, 89, of Lindon, returned to her Heavenly Parents on Wednesday, June 28, 2006, from her home.
She was born April 5, 1917, in Hyrum, to John William and Emily Knecht Dunn. She married Doyle R. Cardon on Sept. 19, 1939, in the Logan LDS Temple.
Lucille was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with an abiding testimony of her Savior. She and Doyle served full-time missions to Western Samoa and to Mauritius. Genealogy and handwork were among her many interests and talents.
Her family was of utmost importance to her. Each family member felt her deep love and concern for them.
She is survived by her husband, Doyle; five children, Michael Cardon, Phillip (Nancy) Cardon, Pamela (John) Avery, Jeffrey (Denice) Cardon and Candace (Rob) Sibley; 26 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Janet; and two granddaughters, Amanda and Elizabeth Cardon.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 3, in the Lindon First Ward chapel, 56 E. 600 North, Lindon. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 S. 300 East, Pleasant Grove, and at the church on Monday one hour prior to services.
