Allison Dougherty

AMARILLO, Texas - Allison L. Dougherty, 77, of Amarillo, Texas, formerly of Davenport, died Friday at his home.

Memorial services will be at a later date in Davenport.

Memorial Gardens Crematorium, Amarillo, is in charge of arrangements.

He was president of John J. Normoyle Co., Moline, from 1969-82. He was an artist and had been a drummer during the Big Band era.

Mr. Dougherty married Bernice Misfeldt in 1943 in Davenport.

During World War II, he served with the 398th Bomber Group. He flew 32 missions over Europe.

Memorials may be made to Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Center, 1500 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, Texas, 79106, or a favorite charity.

Survivors include his wife; and a sister, Marilyn Dougherty, Davenport.
