Mom and dad were married in January of 1942 in Malad Idaho. Together they raised two boys William Jr. and Robert. Imagine the mischief mom had to put up with, with a house full of boys.
Mom was a great cook, there was always a special “treat” to be found in mom’s kitchen. Mom was very skilled at crochet, making beautiful dollies, afgans and lace. It was her great pleasure to crochet very elaborate works and give them to her loved ones.
Mom enjoyed doing many things, but most of all she enjoyed her family and a good John Wayne movie, we can’t leave out the Duke; mom had a special place for him in her heart too!
Mom joins her husband William Sr. her father and mother as well as two brothers. She leaves behind a sister Illene Wall, brother Blair Read, her two sons William T. (Rita) Dixon Jr., Robert R. (Betty) Dixon, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday October 27, 2014 at the Ogden City Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Mother you left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide. Although we cannot see you, your always at our side
