ALICE MAE DeARMOND, 90, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2004, in Madison, Wis. Born Feb. 5, 1914, in Van Wert County, Ohio, she was a homemaker and member of Faith United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, M. Keith DeArmond of Las Cruse, N.M.; daughter, Anita S. Johnson of Madison, Wis.; brother, J. Doyle Stetler of Willshire, Ohio; sister, Marjorie Knittle of Spencerville, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murray M. DeArmond in 1985, and son, Larry W. DeArmond. Service is 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Alzheimer's Association or American Heart Association.
