Andrew Jackson Cromwell, named for his uncle. Son of George W. Cromwell, Sr. and Margaret (Howell) Cromwell.

"ANDREW J. CROMWELL

Andrew Jackson 'Jack' Cromwell, 65 of 422 Kean Terrace, died last night at Allegany Hospital, where he had been a patient for 15 weeks. He was the owner of the El-Da Inn, Braddock road, and was a former dancing instructor and deputy sheriff.

He opened a dance studio on Baltimore street during the last World War. For twenty-eight years he worked with the B and O Railroad as a machinist. He was employed at the old B and O shops when they were situated on George street, present site of the freight depot. He left the B and O about 15 years ago. He was a member of the Eagles.

Besides his widow, Mrs. Daisy (Anderson) Cromwell, he is survived by a son, Al A. Cromwell, local orchestra leader; two sisters, Miss Margaret Cromwell, this city; Mrs. Ida Leonard, of Youngstown, Oh.; and a brother, Charles W. Cromwell, of New York, N.Y."

CROMWELL-Andrew Jackson, aged 65 422 Kean terrace, died at Allegany Hospital, Sunday April 19th. Husband of Daisy (Anderson) Cromwell. The body will remain at the home where friends and relatives will be received and funeral services held Wednesday, 3 P.M. Rev. Vernon Ridgely will officiate. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Stein's funeral service."
