He was known as COWBOY to many! He is missed!! He was a good man!! Stubborn but good. He died during surgery to have his pacemaker replaced.

SWEETWATER -- Arthur B. Crenshaw Jr., of Maryland Heights, Mo., formerly of Menard County, died at 4:04 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital at St. Charles, Mo.

Surviving are four sons, James W. Crenshaw of California, Bill Crenshaw of Greenview, Robert Crenshaw of Sweetwater and Kevin Bruton of Maryland Heights, Mo.; three daughters, Joann Crenshaw of Sweetwater, Norma Raymond of Maryville, Wash., and Lenora K. Wayson of Washington; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ed Crenshaw of Puxico, Mo., and Bob Crenshaw of Kansas City, Kan.; one sister, Mary Hagermayer of Overland, Mo.; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Mott & Henning Funeral Home, Athens, with burial in Sugar Grove Cemetery in Sweetwater.
