Surviving is one daughter, Jamie Roemer and husband Harvey of Springfield, Il.; one son, Nikolas Ackley and wife Michelle of Springfield, Il.; four grandchildren, Jenna, Collin, and Lindsay Roemer and Brett Ackley all of Springfield, Il.; one sister, Louanna Crum and husband Melvin "Pete" of Greenwood , Indiana; one brother, Chuck Corder and wife Mary of Spencer, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Norman Corder.
She was a 1962 graduate of Northwestern High School in Palmyra, Il. She was a past employee of the Illinois Department of Mental Health for over 40 years retiring in 2003. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed flower gardening and being outside.
Services were entrusted to Stults-Neece Funeral Home of Palmyra, Illinois.
