Harold C. Cook, 94, of Winterset and formerly of Earlham died of heart ailment on January 5, 1990 at Winterset Care Center North, where he had resdied since 1984.
The son of Levi and Abigale Barnett Cook, he was born on a farm in Dallas County on December 21, 1895. He married Hazel Aldrich on February 18, 1919. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Bear Creek Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a daughter, Dorothy Jane, three sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include a son, Lyle of Redfield, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
